I’ll be real—Job used to be one of my least favorite stories in the Bible.
It felt heavy, confusing, almost unfair. I didn’t get it.
But once I finally understood what Job’s story was actually showing me?
It became one of my favorites.
Job reminds us that faith isn’t proven when life is easy. It’s proven when everything feels like it’s falling apart and you still choose to trust God anyway. His story shows us that God is still present in loss, still faithful in confusion, and still good even when the season isn’t.
So many of us are living our own “Job chapter” right now—fighting battles nobody sees, holding onto hope with tired hands, trying to understand what God is doing.
Job teaches us this: You can question. You can cry. You can hurt.
But don’t let go of God. He restores. He rebuilds. He brings purpose out of pain.
I used to run from this story… now I hold onto it.
And if you’re in a valley season, I pray it gives you the same strength it gave me.
