Today’s Verse is about feeling overwhelmed by what’s in front of you — and needing reassurance that God is actively walking with you, not watching from a distance.

Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Life has a way of piling things up all at once — responsibilities, expectations, decisions, and pressure to keep moving even when you’re tired.
This verse isn’t God demanding confidence. It’s God offering companionship.
He doesn’t say, “Be strong because you’ve got this.” He says, “Be strong because I’m with you.”
Courage here doesn’t mean fear disappears. It means discouragement doesn’t get to decide your next step.
Wherever you go — into hard conversations, uncertain seasons, unfamiliar territory — God isn’t sending you ahead alone. He’s walking with you into it.
If today feels intimidating:
• Don’t confuse fear with failure
• Don’t assume discouragement means stop
• Take the next step knowing God is with you
You don’t have to feel ready to move forward. You just have to trust that you’re not walking alone.
“I can move forward because God goes with me.”
Lord, help me walk with courage today. When fear or discouragement shows up, remind me that You are with me wherever I go. Amen.
