Verse of The Day

Verse of the Day – Isaiah 49:15–16 (NIV)

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”

⁉️ What This Means in Today’s World

Ever feel invisible? Like you’re doing your best and heaven’s been real quiet?

This verse is God saying:
“Forgot you? Never. Not even close.”

Engraved on His hands means permanent.
Not penciled in. Not a sticky note. Not “I’ll get back to you.”

Permanent.

Even when people forget you.
Even when plans fall through.
Even when prayers feel unanswered.

God’s attention span doesn’t drift. His care doesn’t expire. And your name isn’t slipping His mind.

💡 Applying in Real Life

When the lie creeps in that says:
• “I don’t matter.”
• “I’ve been overlooked.”
• “God must be busy with bigger things.”

Answer it with truth:
“I’m engraved — not forgotten.”

You are seen on your quiet days, your waiting days, and your wondering-if-anyone-notices days.
Spoiler alert: God notices.

🔥 Speak Life into Yourself

“I’m not forgotten — I’m permanently remembered.”

🙏 Prayer
Lord, remind me today that I am seen, known, and remembered by You. When I feel overlooked or forgotten, anchor my heart in Your truth. Amen.
