“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
Hope is hard to hold onto when:
• prayers feel unanswered
• progress feels slow
• life keeps throwing plot twists
• people disappoint (again)
This verse isn’t saying, “Have hope because things look good.”
It’s saying, “Hold onto hope because GOD is good.”
Your hope isn’t rooted in circumstances.
It’s rooted in a faithful Promiser.
And just because something hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.
Delay is not denial — it’s usually preparation.
When your faith feels wobbly:
• Don’t let go.
• Don’t rewrite the promise.
• Don’t downgrade your expectation.
Hold on — even if your grip is shaky.
God doesn’t need your confidence to keep His word. He just needs your willingness to keep believing.
“My hope isn’t fragile — it’s anchored in a faithful God.”
Lord, help me hold onto hope when waiting feels heavy. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are faithful to every promise You’ve made. Amen.
