Today’s Verse is for the ones who feel small, uncertain, or like they don’t have enough faith to move a paperclip, let alone a mountain.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…”
We live in a highlight-reel culture. Big wins. Fast growth. Overnight success.
And when progress looks slow or quiet, we assume it doesn’t count.
This verse says: Wrong.
God isn’t waiting for the big reveal to celebrate.
He rejoices at the start — the first step, the small yes, the tiny bit of obedience that nobody else claps for.
Small beginnings aren’t embarrassing.
They’re evidence that God is at work.
If it feels unimpressive to you, it’s probably impressive to Heaven.
If today all you can do is:
• try again
• show up
• take one small step
• not quit
That counts.
God doesn’t measure progress the way people do.
He measures faithfulness — and He celebrates movement, not magnitude.
So, stop disqualifying what God is actively blessing.
“God celebrates the step you’re tempted to dismiss.”
Lord, help me honor the small beginnings in my life. Give me patience to trust Your process and faith to keep moving forward, even when progress feels slow. Amen.
