Scripture:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1 (NIV)
Reflection:
Fear loves to talk big, but it has terrible credentials. It exaggerates threats, invents outcomes, and conveniently forgets every time God showed up before.
Light exposes fear for what it is — noise.
And when God is your light, you don’t have to pretend you’re brave; you just keep moving forward anyway.
Courage isn’t the absence of fear.
It’s faith refusing to give fear the microphone.
Prayer:
Lord, be my light when fear tries to crowd my vision. Remind me of who You are and whose I am. Help me walk forward with confidence instead of hesitation. Amen.
