Today’s Verse is for the ones feeling heavy, quietly discouraged, or tempted to give up because hope feels… tired. Let’s breathe some life back into that.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Hope can feel scarce when:
• the news is loud
• life is uncertain
• prayers take longer than expected
• and your emotional tank is on “E”
This verse isn’t asking you to manufacture hope. It says God is the source of it.
Joy and peace aren’t rewards for having it all together — they’re results of trust.
And “overflow” means God doesn’t just give enough to survive… He gives enough to spill into others.
Even on days when you feel empty.
If today you feel low on hope:
• Don’t shame yourself.
• Don’t force positivity.
• Don’t quit believing.
Just trust God where you are, not where you think you should be. Hope grows when you stop trying to carry it alone.
Let God fill what life has drained.
“Hope isn’t something I have to find — it’s something God fills.”
God of hope, fill me today with Your joy and peace as I trust You. Let hope rise again in my heart and overflow into every part of my life. Amen.
