Today’s Verse is for the ones who feel weak and guilty about feeling weak. (Double whammy. Let’s cancel that.)
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.”
This isn’t God shouting encouragement from a distance. This is God grabbing your hand and saying, “I’m here. I’ve got you. We’re doing this together.”
Notice He doesn’t say:
• “Figure it out.”
• “Be braver.”
• “Stop being scared.”
He says: “I will help you.”
Fear doesn’t disqualify you from God’s help. It’s usually the reason He steps in closer.
If life feels overwhelming right now, this verse is your reminder that you’re not walking through it solo — even if it feels lonely.
When fear shows up today:
• Don’t power through it alone.
• Don’t shame yourself for feeling it.
• Don’t assume you’re failing.
Instead, imagine God saying:
“Take My hand. I’ll help you with this part.”
You don’t need to know the next ten steps. You just need to stay connected to the One holding you.
“I don’t have to be fearless — I just have to stay hand-in-hand with God.”
Lord, thank You for holding my hand when I feel afraid. Help me trust You and lean on Your strength today. I receive Your help. Amen.
