Today’s Verse is about finding safety and steadiness when life feels uncertain and you’re craving something solid to lean on.

Nahum 1:7 (NIV)
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”
We live in a world that feels unstable — emotionally, financially, relationally. People are tired of feeling like they have to brace themselves for the next hit or bad news.
This verse reminds us that God doesn’t just offer encouragement — He offers refuge.
A refuge isn’t something you admire from a distance. It’s somewhere you run when things get hard.
And notice this: God isn’t just powerful here — He’s good. Not harsh. Not impatient. Not distant.
He cares for those who trust Him — even when trust feels fragile and imperfect.
If today feels heavy or uncertain:
• Stop trying to tough it out alone
• Let God be your safe place
• Rest in the truth that He sees you and cares deeply
You don’t need to have everything figured out to find refuge.
You just need to come.
“I don’t have to hold everything together — God is my refuge.”
Lord, thank You for being my refuge in hard moments. Help me trust You today and rest in Your care when life feels overwhelming. Amen.
