Verse of The Day

Verse of the Day – Psalm 40:1–2 (NIV)

Today’s Verse is about waiting — not the cute, patient kind, but the kind where you’ve been holding on longer than you thought you’d have to and you’re quietly tired of being strong. 😮‍💨⏳

✨ Verse of the Day ✨

📖 Psalm 40:1–2 (NIV)

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”

⁉️ What This Means in Today’s World

Waiting can feel discouraging — especially when you’ve been praying, trying, hoping, and trusting for a while now. The longer it takes, the easier it is to wonder if God heard you at all.

This verse gently reminds us that waiting is not wasted time. God doesn’t ignore cries that come from tired hearts. He hears, He moves, and He lifts — even when it feels slow from our side.

And notice this:
God doesn’t just pull you out of the pit — He sets your feet somewhere solid.
Not rushed.
Not shaky.
Stable.

💡 Applying in Real Life

If you’re in a waiting season:
• Keep crying out — God hears you
• Don’t assume silence means neglect
• Trust that God is preparing firm ground, not just quick relief

What He’s doing in the waiting often prepares you for what comes next.

🔥 Speak Life into Yourself

“My waiting isn’t wasted — God is setting my feet on solid ground.”

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for hearing my cry even in seasons of waiting. Lift me where I feel stuck and place my feet on steady ground as I trust You. Amen.
