Today’s Verse is about finding stability when life feels shaky — when circumstances shift, emotions fluctuate, and you’re craving something solid to stand on.

Psalm 62:6 (NIV)
“Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.”
Life doesn’t always fall apart all at once. Sometimes it shakes us slowly — a little stress here, a disappointment there, uncertainty piling up until you realize you’ve been bracing yourself for impact.
This verse speaks directly into that tension.
God isn’t described here as helpful sometimes or strong when things go right. He is called a rock — steady, unmoving, dependable. A fortress — protective, surrounding, secure.
That means when everything else feels unstable — relationships, plans, emotions, expectations — God remains unshaken.
You may feel unsure.
You may feel tired.
You may feel overwhelmed.
But the foundation beneath you has not moved.
If today feels unsteady:
• Stop trying to control what’s shifting
• Anchor yourself in what doesn’t change
• Remind your heart where your security lives
Stability doesn’t come from things lining up perfectly. It comes from knowing Who is holding you steady.
You don’t have to be unbothered to be secure. You just have to be anchored.
“I may feel shaken, but my foundation is solid.”
Lord, be my rock today. When life feels uncertain, help me anchor my heart in You and trust that You are holding me steady. Amen.
