Scripture:
“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5 (NIV)
Reflection:
Some nights hit different. The kind where your mind won’t shut up and your heart feels heavy for no obvious reason. But God’s not surprised by your tears. He doesn’t label you “too much” or “too emotional.” He’s close in it.
And here’s the promise: the night is not your permanent address.
Morning is coming. Joy is coming. Relief is coming.
Not because life magically gets easy—but because God is faithful and He specializes in turnarounds.
So yes… cry if you need to.
Then get up, wipe your face, and remember: God is still writing your story.
Prayer:
Lord, meet me in the places that feel heavy today. Comfort what hurts, heal what’s been bruised, and breathe hope into me again. Help me believe that joy is on the way—even if I can’t see it yet. Amen.
