Devotions

Devotional (Sassy Edition)

Scripture:
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)

Reflection:
Some days you need encouragement, and some days you need someone to lovingly snatch you away from your pity party and say, “Get up. God’s not done.”

Encouragement isn’t flattery. It’s fuel. It’s reminding each other of who we are in Christ, not who we feel like when we wake up before coffee.

Building people up doesn’t require a miracle… just attention, compassion, and occasionally biting your tongue when the petty wants to come out and play. 😉

You never know when a simple word can keep someone from giving up. Yes, even that person who gets on your nerves. 🤪

Prayer:
Lord, help me be a builder today, not a bulldozer. Give me compassion with clarity, grace with truth, and patience with people I would really prefer to ignore. Use my words to lift, not crush. Amen.

Declaration:
✨ “Today I build, encourage, and uplift — because someone’s breakthrough might be on the other side of my words.” ✨
