Scripture:
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)
Reflection:
Let’s call it what it is: you’re worrying like it’s your side hustle.
Replaying conversations. Imagining outcomes. Carrying emotional baggage that wasn’t even issued to you.
Meanwhile, God is standing there with His arms out like,
“…are you done yet?”
Worry doesn’t make you responsible.
It makes you exhausted.
God never asked you to hold it together — He asked you to hand it over. And yes, even the thing you’re thinking, “I should probably keep control of this one.” Especially that one.
Prayer:
God, I’m giving You the worries I keep recycling in my head. Take the pressure, the fear, and the what-ifs that steal my peace. Help me trust that You care more about this than I ever could. Amen.
