If Words Were Calories, Some People Would Be on a Diet

If Words Were Calories, Some People Would Be on a Diet 😌

Some folks will promise you the world… and deliver absolutely nothing but excuses and audacity.
They’ll say, “I got you” and then disappear like Wi-Fi in a tunnel.

Now naturally, you want to:
• call it out
• flip a table (biblically)
• or write a strongly worded text… with emojis

But Jesus says, “Let it go.”

Not because it didn’t matter— but because anger is heavy and peace is priceless.

“Let your ‘Yes’ be yes, and your ‘No,’ no.” — Matthew 5:37

God is big on integrity. Humans? Still in beta testing.

📖 “Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” — Ephesians 4:26
Translation: Don’t go to bed mad. And definitely don’t build a guest room for bitterness.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean you keep trusting people who keep lying.
It means you stop letting them live rent-free in your emotions.

You can forgive and have boundaries.
You can release the anger and stop believing empty promises.
That’s not cold—that’s called wisdom.

So yes… let it go.
Not for them—for you.

Because peace looks better on you than petty ever could. 💅✨
