Faith & Encouragement

Relationships

Too often, we confuse love with looks, status, or money. But real love—the kind that builds a strong foundation—runs deeper than that.

Looks fade. Money comes and goes. Status can be stripped in a moment. But a heart that honors God, communicates with kindness, and chooses daily to love—that’s what lasts.

When we put God first in our own lives, we begin to see relationships differently. We stop rushing. We start paying attention to character. We notice how someone treats others, whether they bring peace or chaos, whether they build up or tear down.

If you are single right now, trust God with your heart. Let Him write your story. If you’re married or in a serious relationship, it’s never too late to realign your relationship with Him. Pray together with your partner. Laugh together. Encourage one another. Put God first, and your partner second—and everything else will flow from there.

The right partner isn’t found by chasing perfection—it’s found by walking together toward God.

Do your current or past relationships reflect God’s love, peace, and purpose—or have they been built on temporary things?

If you’re single, pray for God to prepare you and your future partner. If you’re in a relationship, take time today to pray together.

Lord, guide my relationships. Help me honor You in the way that I love and be wise in choosing who I let close to my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
