Protect Your Peace

Protect Your Peace — Even From “Family Reunion but Make It a Thriller”

Family is wild, y’all. You’ll have one person praying, one person yelling, one person crying, and someone in the corner making plates like nothing’s happening. 🍗😂

Some relatives don’t just bring drama — they cater it. Full service. Appetizer, entrée, dessert, AND to-go boxes. And have you ever noticed the messiest relative is always shocked when you set a boundary?

You: “I need space.”

Them: “Why? What did I do?”

…Ma’am, please. Even the angels are tired. 😩😇

Some of y’all need to start handing out spiritual restraining orders at family events. “Love you but stay six emotional feet away at all times.” 🙏🏼🧍‍♀️↔️🧍‍♂️

And listen — if your peace disappears the minute you pull into the driveway? That’s not fellowship. That’s warfare.

Go home. God will understand. 😂

You are not obligated to attend every argument, every guilt trip, or every drama episode they try to cast you in. If they want chaos, let them fight the demons they summoned. You? You’re unavailable. Booked. Busy. Hydrated. Blessed. And off the grid. 🙌🏻✨

Protect your peace like it’s your last slice of cheesecake at a family dinner. Guard it with your life.

📖 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23
