Today’s Verse is for the season where you may not be where you want to be yet — but you’re no longer where you used to be. Growth is happening, even if it feels slow.

Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)
“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”
I love that this verse doesn’t rush the process.
It doesn’t say the path is instantly bright.
It says it’s like the morning sun.
Slow.
Gradual.
Steady.
Growth doesn’t usually arrive all at once. It shows up in small shifts — clearer thinking, healthier boundaries, softer reactions, stronger faith. Things you may not even notice right away.
But light is increasing.
Just because you’re not at “full daylight” yet doesn’t mean you’re behind. Morning light is still light. It still changes the landscape. It still makes the way visible.
God isn’t asking you to sprint into who you’re becoming. He’s allowing you to rise naturally — one step, one lesson, one day at a time.
And that kind of growth lasts.
Today:
• Don’t discount small progress
• Don’t compare your morning to someone else’s noon
• Don’t rush what God is steadily building
You are moving forward — even if it feels quiet.
Let the light keep coming.
“My path is getting brighter — even if I’m still in the morning.”
God, thank You for the growth I can’t always see yet. Help me trust the process You’re walking me through and remind me that You are steadily bringing more light into my life. I trust where You’re leading me. Amen.
