Today’s Verse is about remembering where your help actually comes from — especially when life feels overwhelming, your mind is tired, and you’ve been trying to hold everything together on your own.
Psalm 121:2 (NIV)
“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
When life gets heavy, our instinct is to look everywhere for help — people, plans, money, control, distractions, even stress (because at least it feels like doing something).
This verse gently interrupts that spiral.
It doesn’t shame you for needing help.
It redirects you to the right Source.
The same God who created the heavens and the earth — oceans, mountains, stars, seasons — is the One offering to help you with this. The conversation. The decision. The burden you didn’t ask for. The exhaustion you didn’t plan on.
If God can hold the universe together, He can handle what’s weighing on you.
If today you feel:
• overwhelmed by responsibility
• stretched thin emotionally
• unsure where to turn next
Pause and ask yourself:
Where am I actually looking for help right now?
Help doesn’t come from panic. It doesn’t come from overthinking. It doesn’t come from carrying everything alone.
It comes from the Lord — steady, capable, present.
You don’t have to solve everything today.
You just have to look up instead of inward.
“My help isn’t limited by my situation — it comes from the God who made everything.”
Lord, help me lift my eyes when life feels heavy. Remind me that You are my help, my strength, and my source today. I trust You with what I can’t carry. Amen.
