“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

 

Reflection

 

For a long time, I thought joy was something that came after things settled down.

 

After answers came.

After stress lifted.

After life felt lighter.

 

But this verse gently says otherwise.

 

God doesn’t just rescue us from hard seasons — He leads us into life.

Not survival.

Not endurance.

Life.

 

And the joy He offers isn’t loud or performative. It’s not hype or forced positivity.

 

It’s the quiet fullness that comes from knowing you’re not walking alone.

 

What stands out to me here is that joy isn’t found at the end of the path — it’s found in God’s presence along the way.

 

That tells me I don’t have to postpone joy until everything makes sense. I don’t have to wait until life feels easier. Joy can exist right alongside responsibility, growth, and even unanswered questions.

 

Sometimes joy is simply realizing:

God is with me in this moment — and that’s enough.

 

Gentle Invitation

 

Today, instead of rushing through the hours:

• Pause and notice where God already is.

• Let yourself enjoy something small without guilt.

• Stop treating joy like a reward you have to earn

 

You’re allowed to live your life — not just manage it.

 

God isn’t just pointing you forward. He’s walking with you right here.

 

Speak Life into Yourself

 

“I don’t have to wait for joy — God meets me with it along the way.”

 

Prayer

 

God, thank You for leading me into life, not just through it. Help me stay present enough to notice Your joy today — not as something I force, but as something I receive. I trust You with my steps and my moments. Amen.
