Today’s Verse is about feeling worn down by life’s challenges and needing reassurance that God is still working — even when the process feels uncomfortable and unfinished.

“And after you have suffered a little while, [God] will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
We don’t love verses that include words like suffered — but we need them, because they’re honest.
This verse doesn’t deny that hard seasons exist. It acknowledges them — and then promises restoration.
Notice who does the restoring.
Not you.
Not time.
Not “getting over it.”
God Himself.
That means the same God who sees the struggle is also the One rebuilding you through it. Strength doesn’t come before the hard season — it comes because you walked through it with Him.
What feels uncomfortable right now may actually be the place God is making you firmer, steadier, and stronger than before.
If today feels heavy or stretching:
• Don’t rush the process
• Don’t assume this season is permanent
• Don’t discount what God is building in you
You may feel worn, but you are not being wasted. Restoration is already part of the plan.
“This season is shaping strength I don’t see yet.”
Lord, help me trust You in the middle of the process. Restore what feels worn, strengthen what feels weak, and make me steady as I walk through today. Amen.
