Today’s Verse is for the ones feeling weary of carrying emotional weight that isn’t even theirs… the overthinkers, the peace-keepers, and the “I’ll handle it” crowd.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Anxiety today doesn’t usually announce itself.
It sneaks in as:
• overthinking
• replaying conversations
• worrying about things that might happen
• carrying everyone else’s emotions like it’s your job
This verse is God saying,
“Why are you holding that? I never asked you to.”
“Cast” doesn’t mean gently set it down and pick it back up later. It means throw it off you — aggressively, unapologetically, completely.
And the reason?
Not because God “can handle it.” But because He actually cares about YOU.
Today, try this:
• When anxiety shows up → hand it over immediately
• When worry creeps in → stop and pray instead of spiraling
• When your mind won’t shut up → remind it who’s in charge
You were never meant to carry everything.
That’s not strength — that’s overload.
God cares more than you realize… and way more than you give Him credit for.
“I don’t have to carry what God is willing to hold.”
Lord, I give You every anxious thought, every heavy worry, and every burden I’ve been carrying alone. Help me trust that You truly care for me. Amen.
