Today’s Verse is for the ones who are doing the right things… but still feel tired, unseen, or like progress is slower than molasses in January. (You’re not doing it wrong.)

“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…”
We live loud.
Always reacting. Always explaining. Always pushing. Always fixing.
And God says something wildly countercultural:
Your strength doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from trusting more.
Quietness here doesn’t mean silence.
It means settled.
Rest doesn’t mean lazy.
It means anchored.
God isn’t impressed by burnout disguised as faithfulness. He’s inviting you to stop striving and start trusting.
If today feels heavy:
• Stop trying to outrun the pressure
• Stop proving your worth
• Stop carrying what God never assigned you
Choose rest over reaction.
Trust over tension.
Quiet confidence over constant explanation.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is be still and let God handle it.
“My strength grows when I stop striving and start trusting.”
Lord, teach me to find strength in trusting You. Quiet my heart, steady my mind, and help me rest in Your care today. Amen.
